Wiener World Pittsburgh: Your Hot Dog Haven in Downtown

It's not often I go out of my way to get a hot dog out but when I do, I'm ALWAYS going to weiner world. Everything on the menu is awesome, especially the chicago dogs! You can't beat the value, price and how one hot dog can be plenty. Super glad to see y'all are still doing well in the new location!

Wasn’t sure where to eat so just walked the city. See a group of business casuals types duck into a hole in the wall and followed. Got an awesome Ruben for my troubles. Worth the trip!

First time eating here, was in the area. Iconic Pittsburgh eatery. Eating here is like taking a step back in time. Very enjoyable experience and the food was delish! Fries were excellent!

My favorite work lunch spot, everything is always fresh, hot & good. The main lady that runs the register is awesome and so kind & hospitable!

This is a hidden gem and underestimated food place in downtown, please go there and grab lunch when you can! I came here for the first time last week with a colleague. She ordered a hotdog, and I ordered a fish sandwich. Their fish sandwich is HUGE and DELICIOUS. FYI it does take 15 minutes to cook the fish for your sandwich. If you order a hotdog, you would get it within 5 minutes. Their fries are pretty good too. They are not open for long hours, like 11am to 4pm only, so please go and support them during lunch!

Fast, cheap, and good. I simply had to buy a shirt while I was in the area for an event. You get what you pay for there. And what you get is a good hotdog, hot fries, and quick service for about 12 bucks. $27 if you buy the shirt like I did.

I worked at weiner 35 years ago while I was in high school, still the best dog in the world, hot dog still snaps when you bite it, bun still fresh, Chile still delicious. I loved it then and love it now. I actually drive to downtown just to get it.

Wow, the best hotdog I had in a long, long, long time. I usually will not order a hotdog from anywhere, my husband loves hotdogs. Bump into this place via work and I told my husband to try it. I was asking customers and servers about the hotdogs. The customers said they always goes there to get hotdogs, but the only problem is that they close too early ( another customer vouched on that. Lol) my husband got the 2 hotdog combo. I took my chances and got a Chicago style hotdog combo. Lord and behold, It was amazingly, outstanding. I mean, I had not had a hotdog like that in a long time, like when I was a child. Every bite was good. The only down fall was I wished that I had ordered two. I’m sad that I don’t have a beginning picture, sure do have the ending. Will definitely return tomorrow to get 2 more lol. KUDOS to WIENER WORLD.
